A three-day hackathon sponsored by Gucci‘s Chime for Change campaign kicked off at Twitter‘s headquarters in San Fransisco on Thursday, July 9. The event, titled Chimehack 2 (following the first such gathering in 2013), with a host committee chaired by Juliet de Baubigny of Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, brought together women and men focused on finding innovative ways to use technology to promote women’s health, safety, and social equality. Speakers from Twitter, Kering Foundation, National Network to End Domestic Violence, Sexual Health Innovations, and Breakthrough Collaborative led panel discussions attended by hackers from around the world..
