The 2015 FOG Design + Art Fair kicked off with the annual event’s preview gala at Fort Mason’s Festival Pavilion in San Francisco on Thursday, January 14. Benefiting the SFMOMA, the gala and fair chaired by designers Douglas Durkin, Stanlee Gatti, Katie Paige, Allison Speer, and Cathy Topham included scores of prominent 20th-century and contemporary design dealers, as well as a selection of top modern art galleries. Guests also got a look at a special installation created by Gatti, 21POP: Cotton, spotlighting the process of textile production, as well as a pop-up version of beloved eatery Cotogna with chef Michael Tusk’s rustic Italian fare.
