Valentino enlisted Alexis and Trevor Traina, along with Ken Fulk to celebrate a new book by the Italian fashion house’s brand ambassador, Carlos Souza, on Tuesday, November 4, in San Francisco. Guests gathered at Valentino’s Union Square boutique to toast Souza and get a signed copy of the volume, #Carlos’s Places (Assouline) that is filled with Souza’s Instagram shots and includes notes on his favorite restaurants, hotels, and other places around the world. Then Denise Hale, Heather Ive, Komal Shah, Katie and Todd Traina, and Victoire Reynal turned up at Fulk’s house for a private dinner for Souza and a lively discussion of his future travel plans.
