The University of California San Francisco (UCSF) Nina Ireland Program for Lung Health (NIPLH) Celebration dinner was held at the Ritz Carlton on Nob Hill in San Francisco on January 15. Hosted by NIPLH Director Dr. Jeffrey Golden, the evening began with a cocktail reception to honor Ireland, who was known for devoting her resources to pulmonary health and research. The evening benefited the NIPLH’s research into advanced lung therapy and care for underserved Bay Area residents. As dinner was served, Chris Isaak performed an acoustic session for physicians, the NIPLH board of directors, and guests including Bob Fisher, Doris Fisher, Dede Wilsey, Nancy Bechtle, and Joachim Bechtle.
