San Francisco and St. Helena–based Caldwell Snyder Gallery hosted more than 100 guests on August 6 for a private preview of designer handbags to be auctioned off at the 10^th annual This Old Bag: The Power of the Purse event on October 17. More than 20 handbags from designers such as Lanvin, Jonathan Adler, Zac Posen, and Louis Vuitton were on display, with proceeds benefiting the Breast Cancer Emergency Fund (BCEF). Karen Caldwell, Ted Hannig, Jessica Hon, and Maya Labban were among the guests at the event, while the honorary committee includes Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi, Congressman Mike Honda, Christopher Bently, and Hilary Newsom Callan.
