St. Anthony’s Show Tunes & Philanthropy Benefit
A St. Anthony’s fundraising event, Show Tunes and Philanthropy, was held at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco on Wednesday, February 19. Chair Marilyn Cabak welcomed more than 200 guests including Elizabeth Pang Fullerton, Consul General of Italy Mauro Battocchi, and Father John Hardin to raise funds for a new dining room at the S.F.-based charity that was founded to feed, clothe, and offer guidance to the city’s homeless. Barry Stenger, St. Anthony’s executive director, gave an update on construction progress, scheduled to be completed this fall. Individuals who have been helped by the St. Anthony Foundation Recovery Program for drug abuse and alcohol addiction also spoke to guests. The charity’s new space will also bring its food service, its free clothing program, and social work center together under one roof.
