Shreve & Co. + Harry Kotlar
To honor Heart Month, which shines light on the effects of cardiovascular disease, esteemed jewelry firm Shreve & Co. and Harry Kotlar joined forces to host the Shop for a Cause Event on Thursday, February 7, in benefit of the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women Campaign.
Drawing an elite crowd to Shreve & Co.’s San Francisco flagship store, the event allowed guests to see the recently unveiled Harry Kotlar 70th Anniversary Collection. Playing upon the house’s seven decades, which have garnered a celebrity fan base that includes Michelle Obama and Cate Blanchett, the range features seven pieces that are each inspired by love, passion, hard work and tenacity — all attributes seen in the brand’s luxury designs over the years.
Also on view was Kotlar 1948. Created exclusively for the AHA & Shreve & Co., the three-piece collection incorporated rubies as a nod to the AHA’s signature color as well as the intention to evoke good fortune, health and pure love for the wearer.
As guests mingled and shopped, an interactive two-minute film on the history of Kotlar’s design played throughout the night.
