The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art held it’s biennel art auction benefitting the museum’s exhibitions and education programs. More than 40 lots including works by John Baldessari, Vija Celmins, Chuck Close, Jasper Johns, Gerhard Richter, Cindy Sherman and Andy Warhol were auctioned off by Patrick Meade of Bonhams Auctioneers & Appraisers. A live musical performance by San Francisco band Geographer rounded out the evening.
