The San Francisco Court Appointed Special Advocates (SFCASA) program hosted its Fostering Change Gala at the Westin St. Francis in Union Square on Friday, May 9. The evening combined two of the organization’s annual events including the Fostering Change Luncheon and a gala usually held in October, to draw attention to May’s designation as national foster care month. Dinner and live and silent auctions drew guests together in support of Bay Area children in foster care, and the evening’s proceeds went to programs designed to keep children safe from abuse.
