The San Francisco Ballet honored benefactors of the company’s upcoming opening night gala at a cocktail party held on Wednesday, January 8, in San Francisco. Asim and Isha Abdullah hosted the reception in their Pacific Heights penthouse with guests including Tanya Powell, Shelley Gordon, Betsy Linder, and Chandra and Bob Friese. Guests speculated about the opening night celebrating the ballet’s 81st Repertory Season that will take place on Wednesday, January 22, with a cocktail reception and dinner at City Hall followed by a gala performance at the War Memorial Opera House.
