Randi Zuckerberg, no slouch when it comes to technology, realized when she became a mother that kids and adults needed to unplug. She wrote a couple of books on the subject, and San Francisco’s Contemporary Jewish Museum held a launch party for both Dot (HarperCollins) and Dot Complicated (HarperOne), hosted by Alison Pincus and Jessica Lessin, on November 16. Guests arrived to admire the picture book, Dot, about a young tech-savvy adventurer, and the novel, Dot Complicated, explaining how to manage an online presence, both penned by Mark Zuckerberg’s talented older sister.
