Jay Jeffers and Michael Purdy, the creative minds behind San Francisco’s Cavalier home goods boutique, celebrated Jeffrey Alan Marks’ book The Meaning of Home (Rizzoli) with a cocktail party at their Post Street design space on Tuesday, September 24. Marks, who has designed interiors for private clients and restaurants such as Tavern in Brentwood and The Hungry Cat in Santa Monica, celebrated the new volume and the 20th anniversary of his Santa Monica firm, JAM Design. Hosts Alison Pincus, Vanessa Getty, Brooke Wyard and Douglas Friedman welcomed a host of décor enthusiasts to the Bay Area book signing.
