Joy Venturini Bianchi’s Helpers celebrated its 60th birthday—and her 75th birthday—with a gala supper on Saturday, October 5, at the Fairmont Hotel atop Nob Hill in San Francisco. The organization, founded to support the developmentally disabled in the Bay Area, assembled an honorary gala committee that included Wilkes Bashford, Willie Brown, Phil and Christine Bronstein, and Mark Leno. And guests including Karen Caldwell, Karen Hartle, Jack Calhoun, Terry Forrest, Wes Carroll, and Robert Marinelli celebrated Bianchi and her Helpers House of Couture at the evening event, held inside the Fairmont’s famous penthouse suite.
