Hamel Family Wines Dinner in the Vineyards
The team behind Sonoma Valley’s newest winery, Hamel Family Wines, hosted Bay Area notables for its Dinner in the Vineyards series on Friday, April 25, and Saturday, April 26. Vintner George F. Hamel, managing director George F. Hamel III, and winemaker John B. Hamel II celebrated the winery’s upcoming opening—slated for May 17—and kicked-off their event series with a special feast with fare by the acclaimed San Francisco-based chef, Gary Danko. Guests including Joy Venturini Bianchi, Tyler Florence, Christopher Bently joined interior designer Ken Fulk (who will be partnering with the winery for future celebrations and chef-hosted dinners) at the celebration where they were treated to a tour of the 7,500-square-foot winery and sipped from a selection of wines made from grapes grown on the new site.
