Luxe leather line Ghurka partnered with the San Francisco Zoological Society to celebrate the opening of its Post Street store in San Francisco on Tuesday, December 10.  The new boutique is Ghurka’s second foray into the city after a short stint in the financial district a few years ago. CEO John Reuter welcomed guests and celebrated the company’s return to the Bay Area. Co-host Tanya Peterson, of the Zoological Society, told guests that Ghurka’s leather goods inspire “adventure, travel and action” just as the San Francisco Zoo’s native habitats conjure up journeys to distant lands. Guests and co-hosts including Rosemary Baker, Anne and Robert Pedrero, Timothy Wu, Laurene Jobs, Rich Peterson, Tanya Powell and Mindy and Jim Henderson all turned up for the party benefiting the Zoological Society.
