FREDA SALVADOR + Clare Rojas Brunch
To fete the launch of their new limited-edition shoe collaboration, San Francisco contemporary artist Clare Rojas teamed up with luxe artisanal shoe brand Frēda Salvador to host a celebratory soiree at Blue Water Ranch in Bolinas on Wednesday, June 29. The afternoon affair, co-hosted by S.F. style maven Lauren Goodman and art consultant Sabrina Buell, brought together an intimate mix of tastemakers and friends including Frēda Salvador founders Megan Papay and Cristina Palomo Nelson as well as guests like Claudia Ceniceros and Yvonne Force Villareall, who previewed the expressive footwear while enjoying cocktails in the open air. Nestled on the ranch’s sprawling grounds, a rustic, pop-up trailer displayed the designer’s new limited-edition WIT oxford d’Orsay shoe, which combines Frēda Salvador’s high-quality, Spanish craftsmanship with Rojas’ geometric designs based on her original painting, and attendees gathered for a seated lunch to toast the creative pair behind the shoe brand on their debut collaboration.
