Tatiana and Serge Sorokko celebrated the opening of Donald Sultan: A Decade of Paintings and Drawings at their San Francisco gallery on Thursday, May 22. The show at the Serge Sorokko Gallery marked the first time Sultan has shown new works in San Francisco in over 20 years, and the mixed media paintings and drawings on display included examples from the artist’s Wallflowers series—huge versions of flat blooms that are abstract yet identifiable.
