San Francisco Opera Ball co-chairs Mai Shiver and Ann Girard gathered friends and supporters at the Pacific Heights penthouse of Isha and Asim Abdullah on Tuesday, May 28, to celebrate the opening night gala of the S.F. Opera’s 91st season. This year, the always-anticipated evening will come together under the direction of event designer Colin Cowie, who has dreamed up countless bashes in L.A. and N.Y., and was on hand to meet San Francisco socials and to sign copies of his book Colin Cowie Chic (Potter Style).
