Smith‘s book Building Beauty: The Alchemy of Design (Rizzoli) was lauded in a reception hosted by Christie‘s own Ellanor Notides and Laura Paulson with honorary hosts Vanessa Getty, Ali Pincus and Allison Speer. San Francisco’s Hedge gallery served as the backdrop for the evening where guests were treated to a preview of highlights from Christie’s spring auctions.
