Oliver Caldwell and Susan Snyder celebrated the 30th anniversary of their San Francisco art gallery, Caldwell Snyder, with a cocktail party on Thursday, January 30, at the Union Square location. Clients and fellow artists were in attendance to help celebrate three decades that began in a SoMA industrial space in two satellite galleries and now includes the Sutter Street gallery, as well as an outpost in St. Helena, and numerous international art fairs each year. To celebrate, many of Caldwell Snyder’s artists created original paintings and drawings with dimensions of 30 x 30 inches for the 30th anniversary show on view through February 28, at the Union Square location. Karen Caldwell, Wilkes Bashford, Melissa Chandon, Jane and David Jackson, Jay Jeffers, Michael Purdy, and Steve Sockolov were also on hand to toast the artists and gallery founders.
