Thanks to Napa denizen and arts patron Maria Manetti Shrem, luxury Italian jewelry house Bulgari joined forces with vintners Sandy and Mike Davis to host an exclusive lunch on Friday, July 22 as a part of the Festival Napa Valley. Held at Sandy and Mike’s newly debuted Davis Estates winery in St. Helena (designed by NorCal starchitect Howard J. Backen), the dazzling soiree drew a bevy of local winemakers and fine jewelry lovers including actress Jennifer Tilley, Bulgari Vice President Nathalie Diamantis, Festival Napa Valley CEO Rick Walker, Blakesley Chappellet, Maria Torres, Jennifer Mancuso, and Barbara Brown. Attendees joined Bulgari President Daniel Partridge and Shrem—who donned the jewelry label’s diamond-encrusted Serpenti necklace—for epicurean fare from nearby Michelin-starred The Restaurant at Meadowood, while sipping on Davis Estates wines, including the 2011 Phase V Cabernet Sauvignon and the 2013 Pinwheel Cabernet Franc. But perhaps more striking than the eloquent gourmet displays were the fine Bulgari jewels and luxurious watches glimmering on each table as extravagant centerpieces.
