Please come join in for this event I put together for tomorrow evening at Pan Pacific Park. Amar’e Stoudamire + LA Artist RETNA will do a live interactive art project with our local kids. Amar’e will shoot some hoops with our kids and also make a substantial donation to Pan Pacific to benefit our fantastic sports programs. See below email.
Amar’e is in town to play the Clippers on Wednesday so please come out and give him a huge welcome and show your support.
RETNA grew up in the mid-city playing at Pan Pacific. His art and murals can be seen all over LA and his commissioned pieces can be found in some of the most important art collections. His work has been featured in museums/shows all over the world and he has done collaborations with Louis Vuitton, Nike, Chanel, Jimmy Choo, Helmut Lang and many others. RETNA recently donated $100,000 to St. John’s Childrens Hospital and regularly raises money for the Pink Party Ovarian Cancer Benefit, Project Angel Food, Haiti Relief and others.
