Clocks rapidly ticking toward the New Year mark the timely arrival earlier this month of Swiss watch manufacturer IWC Schaffhausen on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. The new flagship opening coincides with the launch of the Big Pilot’s Watch Edition aptly-named timepiece, Boutique Rodeo Drive. The ceramic and titanium watch has a blue dial, a 46-millimeter case and includes IWC’s largest self-winding movement that runs continuously for seven days. The shop, lit with an Art Deco-inspired chandelier, also includes a mezzanine with a gallery of IWC film memorabilia, photos, and props; a tribute to the company’s film presence just as awards season begins. Time for a visit.
