There will be plenty of time to monkey around at this year’s Chinese Lunar New Year celebrations which take place on Monday, February 8. Aside from celebrating the new moon, participants must make way for good luck in the year ahead. To aid the fashion pack on such a quest (involving a thorough spring cleaning to sweep out bad fortune, hanging red paper lanterns on windows and doors, lighting fireworks to ward away spirits, and watching lion and dragon dancers take to the streets), Prada has created a capsule collection to mark the holiday. Fittingly named, the Monkey Chatters line includes copious amounts of red leather accessories as well as a few tricky primate designs sure to delight those toasting the much-anticipated Lunar New Year festivities.
