Spotlight: Chanel Ephemeral Boutique in Aspen
After a star-studded debut in Dallas earlier this year, Chanel’s Métiers d’Art Paris-Dallas 2013/14 collection heads to Aspen for a weeklong pop-up. L.A. notables including Kelly Sawyer-Patricof, along with Laura Love, Harley Viera-Newton and Leigh Lezark, are packing their bags for the opening party on Thursday at Casa Tua—an art-filled restaurant and private club. Past the illuminated Chanel and red Texas star sign at the entrance, skirts and ponchos printed in Navajo-like patterns, denim separates, large feathered headdresses and oversized beaded jewelry will be displayed on mannequins along the central bar and atop wooden pallets. Whether you veer cowgirl or Indian, make sure to check out the luxe saloon before the pop-up decamps on July 6th.
