“I love Jessie’s classic selections of bed linens,” said interior designer Jonathan Rackman at the opening party for the new Jessie Black boutique that was held in San Francisco on Thursday, June 5, at the new Presidio Heights shop stocked with a highly focused selection of linens, cashmere apparel, and vintage and antique decor. “And her cashmere throws are addictive,” he added. Guests including Kellie Phinney admired the space’s simple yet chic decor as a jazz trio played. Black, who is originally from Australia, was also on hand to greet top designers at her Sacramento Street shop awash in tones of white, taupe, ivory, and soft beige. Black noted that the San Francisco space is her first retail location, and she said she was inspired to open it after a career spent working with luxury goods in Paris, London, Monte Carlo, and New York.
