Scene and Heard: Kristin Davis
Kristin Davis, dressed in a vibrantly striped Dolce & Gabbana dress chatted with stylist Elizabeth Stewart at this year’s P.S. Arts Bag Lunch held at Meredith Kaplan’s Holmby Hills estate on Thursday, May 30. As Davis stood near the entrance, surrounded by candy-colored handbags from Balenciaga, Chloé, Celine, Alexander McQueen, Chanel, Dior and Fendi (and some neon offerings including a bright orange doctor’s bag-shaped charmer from Burberry), she reminisced with Stewart that she’d been drawn to the event for a number of years because every bit of the money raised selling the bags goes to P.S. Arts, a non-profit that brings arts education activities to underserved schools that lack such programs. “I bought a Givenchy,” she confided. And she noted that she bought it outright rather than trying her hand at the silent auction. “I didn’t want to get into a whole bidding war this year. I have in past years and it can be so nerve-racking.”
