Beyond the scents and sensibilities inside the new Dior Beauty boutique in Santa Clara, past the innovative LEDs at mirror stations that simulate outdoor and indoor light, lies the Dior Cabine spa room. And therein are located the estheticians—trained in the massage and facial methodologies of the Dior Institut at the Plaza Athénée Hotel in Paris—who gracefully wield skincare products from Dior Prestige L ‘Or de Vie Skincare lines for 45-minute facials plus 15-minute back and shoulder massages. Suddenly, a jaunt inside the shop, located on the first level of the Westfield Valley Fair, can become a transporting respite full of stunning lipsticks and technicolor nail polishes complete with a trademark scent, perhaps from La Collection Privée. Just be sure to book an appointment beforehand as this new space is the largest Dior Beauty boutique on this side of the Atlantic, and word travels fast in Silicon Valley.
