As the mercury rises, the style set is heading to the Montecito Country Mart for a look at the spring 2016 collection by Los Angeles-based clothing line Co, on Wednesday, May 11. Designers Stephanie Danan and Justin Kern are bringing their line of tailored frocks, high-collared blouses, and dreamy bouffant skirts to the Mart for a one-day pop-up shop they’re co-hosting with Kendall Conrad. Look for white chiffon with bits of velvet, 3-D-printed viscose, and even a moody palm pattern, plus denim created in collaboration with François Girbaud and hats conjured up with Italian milliner Filù. The line’s classic handknit cotton sweaters and the exaggerated Peter Pan collars that adorn shirts and coats are the perfect mod antidote to any upcoming June gloom in the offing.
