Ever since I began DJing, I’ve dreamt that I would be a Dior Beauty Ambassador as it’s literally the coolest role for a DJ with the best (not being biased) fashion house in the world. A highlight of my ambassadorship is that I got to attend the Spring 2017 show during Paris Fashion Week with an all-access backstage pass. This show was a particularly special one, being the debut for their new designer, Maria Grazia Chiuri. The SS17 collection was incredible! Peter Philips is the creative director for Dior Makeup and I loved being backstage to see him at work right before the show; he’s a genius. I also loved the music for the show by Michel Gaubert; I met him prior to the show and was a little bit speechless (which is unlike me) as I am obviously a fan! The front row was filled with Dior faces: Marion Cotillard, Jennifer Lawrence, Natalie Portman and Rihanna. I got to spend the rest of the weekend in Paris with team Dior, which was such a treat as all of the Dior family—based in L.A., NYC and Paris—are amazing and so much fun. I had a magical “Diorific” time!
