Moncler + California Pacific Medical Center Benefit
French-Italian brand Moncler, beloved for its plush down jackets that merge fashion with high performance, celebrated the opening its first boutique in San Francisco’s Union Square with a cocktail party benefitting the California Pacific Medical Center. The event, hosted by David and Kelsey Lamond, Megha and Nirav Tolia and David and Jacqueline Sacks, allowed guests to shop the luxury label’s extensive men and women’s ready-to-wear and accessories as well as the Moncler Gamme Bleu & Moncler Gamme Rouge collections, available only for a limited time at the new location. Fans of the brand, including Derek Blasberg, Mary Beth Shimmon and Carolyn Chang joined Moncler exec Gian Luca Passi de Preposulo in the 3,000-square-foot space, which features the brand’s signature “Haute Montagne” aesthetic of chêne fumé wood paneling, glass and metal display area, and Carnico grey marble flooring.
