Boutique oceanfront getaway Malibu Beach Inn has joined creative forces with L.A. lifestyle brand Johnnie-O to bring vacation-goers and local denizens an extra dose of West Coast prep. Through the end of October, the boutique inn is offering guests an extended summer package, dubbed the Summer of Johnnie-O special, which includes the choice of a premier beachfront queen or king room, along with the clothing label’s popular button-up polo and ball cap upon check-in. But hotel guests aren’t the only ones being outfitted in the brand’s coveted wardrobe staples. The entire hotel staff is sporting the brand’s luxe, California-cool apparel, from ocean-blue pullovers and button-ups to polos emblazoned with the signature surfer logo. For founder of the 11-year old clothing label, John O’Donnell, the partnership is a natural fit: “Like Johnnie-O, the Malibu Beach Inn epitomizes southern California and the lifestyle that it has to offer. Our unique brand coupled with their high-end offering is sure to be a home run for years to come.” To further celebrate the partnership, the hotel is inviting guests to toast Malibu’s never-ending summer with O’Donnell’s “Johnnie-O Light and Sunny” cocktail—a refreshing mix of rum, ginger beer and a splash of Rose’s Lime Juice, garnished with jalapeño in a chilled copper mug. 22878 Pacific Coast Hwy., Malibu, 310-651-7777;
