Flaxen-haired Natalie Dormer selected a sweeping golden-yellow hued Rochas gown for the Los Angeles premiere of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1, held at the Nokia Theatre on Monday, November 17, but NARS makeup artist Matthew VanLeeuwen ensured that all eyes would be on her lips with the look he created for the actress. “Natalie wore this gorgeous gold Rochas gown that had an old-Hollywood movie star feel, so she wanted her look to be clean yet glamorous,” said VanLeeuwen. The bright dress and cascading curls were set off with lush red lips—masking the shorn tresses on the side of Dormer’s head and transforming her from a rebel into screen siren. That’s what a little lipstick will do.
