For more than three decades, skincare expert Kerstin Florian and her daughter Charlene have been transforming the beauty industry (and medicine cabinets around the globe) with everything from serums designed to reduce brown spots and hyperpigmentation, to toners with herbal extracts and botanicals, and creamy moisturizers packed with protein-rich caviar and peptides to combat fine lines and wrinkles. Now, just in time for summer, the company has collaborated with The Spa at The Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills to create two essential beach body-ready offerings for body slimming and body brightening. The 60-minute, head-to-toe body slimming treatment commences with a dry brush exfoliation to jumpstart circulation and lymphatic drainage, followed by an algae mask, and a scalp and head massage. For the grand finale, a slimming serum is applied for a little extra boost for elasticity (think taut, sculpted skin) and contouring. To add oomph to lackluster legs, arms, and décolletage, opt for the body brightening treatment with exfoliating enzymes and body peel cloths to slough off impurities and revive dull skin, a scrub with jojoba and bamboo, and an application of ginger oil and multivitamin firming crème with ingredients from algae to shea butter. After, relax in the spa’s steam room, or if staying the night, splurge for a private cabana by the pool.
