California Beauty: Chanel Métiers d’Art Show 2016
Heralding winter’s imminent arrival, Karl Lagerfeld conjured up a darkened Rome street scene complete with a wrought iron Metro staircase to show a grayscale Chanel Paris in Rome Métiers d’Art 2016 collection at the legendary Cinecittà movie studio in Rome on Tuesday, December 1. As models filed out of a wrought iron Metro station, many adorned in miles of intricate black lace and tailored black coats, their black-rimmed eyes and nude lips heralded a fresh makeup look just as the weather is turning colder. Consider this dark-eyed motif the new neutral this season.
