San Francisco-born fashion designer Alexander Wang tapped NARS makeup artist Diane Kendal to create a bare-faced look for models wearing designs from his spring 2014 collection shown in New York on Saturday, September 7. “This is raw beauty—a simple freshness, focusing on skincare, curled lashes, and a groomed brow,” Kendal said. The fresh visages mirrored the exposed midriffs and legs that Wang sent down the runway. The main idea: freshen up this spring with a bit of moisturizer, concealer, clear brow gel and an eyelash curler, and let nature do the rest.
