On Thursday, May 3, guests gathered for the 7th annual Women, Wine & Shoes fundraiser to benefit Children’s Action Network. The picturesque event, hosted at a private residence in Santa Monica, welcomed a plethora of the Golden State’s most distinguished restaurants, wineries and fashion partners.

The evening’s attendees—among them Laura Dunn, Belén Hormaeche and Dawn Forrester—indulged in libations from wineries such as Blackbird Wine and Boisset, and satisfied their palates with delicacies from Blue Plate Oysterette, Petrossian, Sprinkles Cupcakes and other top California eateries. The crowd also shopped a range of offerings from vendors like Carrie Hoffman Jewelry, Lovely Bird and Elisabeth Weinstock, with all proceeds benefiting Children’s Action Network.

Co-founded by Kate Capshaw, Steven Spielberg, Robert A. Daly, Diana Meehan, Lezlie and Mark Johnson, Lorraine and Sid Sheinberg, and Stacey and Henry Winkler, the nonprofit uses the power of the entertainment community to increase awareness of children’s issues. The organization is currently dedicated to finding homes for the more than 110,000 children in foster care in the United States.
