Television star, fashion designer and author Whitney Port hosted a celebratory luncheon, alongside the Cancer Nutrition Consortium for the launch of Hormel Vital Cuisine on Wednesday, November 4. Held at Ray’s & Stark Bar at LACMA, philanthropists and friends joined the nutritious food label in toasting its debut product line, specifically crafted for cancer patients. Whitney recounted her father’s emotional battle with cancer as she stood arm in arm with her mother, Vicky Lynn Port, and expressed her support for the cause. Attendees sipped on the brand’s new high-protein shake served in Champagne glasses, and enjoyed a savory menu of pumpkin agnolotti, salmon with asparagus, and signature sweets.
