Vhernier Valentine’s Day Dinner
Vhernier and Philanthropic Society of Los Angeles founder Rochelle Gores Fredston hosted a dinner on Wednesday, February 12, at Soho House in West Hollywood in honor of Children’s Institute, Inc. Emanuele Aliotti, vice president of the Italian jewelry house, greeted guests after they shopped for Valentine’s Day gifts, and noted that a portion of proceeds would go to the Institute. “I’ve never seen a stronger sense of commitment to charity as here in Beverly Hills,” he added. “I go back to Italy convinced that I’m not doing enough.” Aliotti recalled a visit to the Institute and confessed that a picture taken there truly impressed his mother. “I’ve met Elizabeth Taylor, Queen Elizabeth II, Nancy Reagan, and even Lindsay Lohan,” he said, “And nothing has made her prouder of me than that picture.”
