Variety held its Creative Impact Awards and 10 Directors to Watch brunch at the Parker Palm Springs on Sunday, January 5. Guests gathered outdoors on the Parker’s impeccable green lawn and acknowledged the artistry of a coterie of filmmakers over coffee, tea, and acceptance speeches from actors who received awards including Jonah Hill and Marisa Tomei, as well as directors including Amma Asante and John Lee Hancock who were also honored.
