Welcoming the industry’s top filmmakers and talents, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles hosted its annual Award Season Tea Party on Saturday, January 9, at the Four Seasons Los Angeles, Beverly Hills. The star-studded bash, which celebrates excellence in film each year, kicked off the season with a toast to the bevy of nominees like Cate Blanchett, Leonardo DiCaprio and Rooney Mara. Guests were invited to unwind and enjoy tea, scones and cocktails before suiting up for the Golden Globes the following night. Aside from honoring Hollywood’s greatest actors and filmmakers, the BAFTA Tea Party helped raise awareness for its Heritage Archive and Inner City Cinema initiatives, among other community outreach programs.
