Fashion designer Rosetta Getty and husband Balthazar Getty opened the doors to their Los Angeles abode to fete the launch of author Tania Fares new book, London Uprising: Fifty Fashion Designers, One City on Tuesday, April 18. Hosted alongside Eric Buterbaugh, Gia Coppola, Jacqui Getty, Irena Medavoy, Jennifer Meyer, Brigette Romanek and Kelly Sawyer, the indoor-outdoor gathering drew names like Mario Testino and model Toni Garrn. While enjoying bites from L.A. Italian favorite Jon & Vinny’s in the garden, attendees got a chance to flip through the new tome, which takes readers on a behind-the-scenes tour into the studios and lives of acclaimed London designers—from Stella McCartney to Simone Rocha—and contextualizes the city as a major flourishing player in the fashion landscape.
