Illustrious French-American jewelry designer James de Givenchy feted the launch of his glimmering new tome, Taffin, The Jewelry of James de Givenchy (Rizzoli New York), with a reception and book signing at host Eric Buterbaugh’s fragrance boutique in Los Angeles. The New York-based designer of Taffin, a brand now synonymous for its one-of-a-kind sculptural baubles created using unconventional shapes and materials, met with friends and fans like Crystal Lourd, Katherine Ross, Sami Hayek, textile extraordinaire Gregory Parkinson and Decades founder Cameron Silver in the indoor-outdoor space. The attendees got a first look at the new slipcased volume on display, featuring more than 300 stunning pieces designed by de Givenchy.
