On Thursday, October 22nd, T Magazine editor Deborah Needleman celebrated the New York Times style publication’s inaugural special issue, The Greats, with a star-studded launch party at The Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles. Sponsored by Graff Diamonds, the evening affair toasted to the issue’s debut on October 25, featuring six cover profiles on icons Jonathan Franzen, Karl Lagerfeld, director Steve McQueen, Rihanna, Quentin Tarantino and tech entrepreneur Elizabeth Holmes. From artists, musicians and fashion designers to filmmakers and tech and literary minds, the new issue seeks to “transform and inspire the culture at large” through tales of the nation’s greats. In attendance were guests like Courtney Love, Rashida Jones, Solange Knowles, Nikki Reed, Kiernan Shipka and Carrie Brownstein who celebrated the night by dancing to the musical stylings of DJ Allie Teilz.
