Jewelry designer Stephen Webster hosted a series of gatherings called The Last Supper in Los Angeles pairing his longtime friends, artists Tracey Emin and Mat Collishaw, and chef Mark Hix from Thursday, November 7 to Saturday, November 9. The weekend kicked off at the Stephen Webster flagship in Beverly Hills, on Thursday, November 7, with the opening of Collishaw’s Last Meal on Death Row exhibition of still life photographs taken of the meals requested by American death row prisoners. Next, Webster held a discussion at SoHo House in West Hollywood titled, The Cook, The Artist, The Jeweler, and Their Lady Friend, moderated by Emin, on Friday, November 8. Hix, Collishaw, Webster and Emin discussed their chosen professions and shared anecdotes about the trials and tribulations they’ve encountered in their respective fields. On the following evening, Webster held a private dinner back at his Rodeo Drive flagship where Hix prepared a tempting menu of lobster, caviar, truffles, and his signature dish of absinthe jelly topped with raspberry and gold leaf. Guests including Rosamund Pike, Jonathan Yeo, Kay Saatchi, Polly Morgan, Virginia Madsen, Anita Patrickson, Poppy Delevingne, and Lady Victoria Hervey joined the four creatives over the multiple evening affair.
