Stella McCartney + H.E.A.R.T. Brunch
If home is where the heart is, then Stella McCartney turned her fashion house into a luxurious abode as the host for the annual H.E.A.R.T charity brunch on Tuesday. Held at Jay and Molly Isaksen Sures’ residence in Brentwood, the event—which also marked the 19th anniversary of the passing of Stella’s mother, Linda McCartney—drew guests like Lena Dunham, Jenni Konner, Leona Lewis, Alexandra Von Furstenberg and Geri Hirsch to raise funds for the Violence Intervention Program child-abuse clinic. After dining on goods from Gjusta Bakery, guests lent their ears to the founder of VIP, Dr. Astrid Heger, who brought the crowd to tears with stories of neglected children in the Los Angeles area. Attendees were also invited to partake in a private shopping experience at a pop-up boutique in the garden—offering a curated collection of exclusive Stella McCartney pieces—where the designer herself stepped up as a personal stylist. (A portion of the proceeds will benefit the charity.) In the spirit of giving, everyone was sent home with a sense of goodwill—and Brit-approved style.
