Owners of Studio City’s Sportsmen’s Lodge Hotel Richard and Liane Weintraub revealed the legendary hotel’s year-long renovation during a poolside party held on Saturday, May 3. The space’s timeless designs call to mind moments in time from its 50-year history serving as a Los Angeles oasis for iconic guests including Clark Gable, Humphrey Bogart, Lauren Bacall, and Katherine Hepburn. Creative directors Susan White of Whitespeed and Rocco Laudizi of slick+designusa toured guests through the midcentury-inspired property before returning to the pool for a performance by the Aqualillies, the talented synchronized swimmers known for captivating Los Angeles audiences.
