Cartier Panthère Party
To celebrate the return of its iconic Panthère watch, Cartier highlighted many of the Golden State’s best attributes at a Hollywood soirée on May 5, complete with gilded palm trees, trays of champagne, and plenty of chic Angelos in attendance.
Dakota Johnson, Miranda Kerr, Kirsten Dunst and Dita von Teese joined hosts Sofia Coppola, Cyrille Vigneron, Cartier’s president and chief executive officer, and Mercedes Abramo, who oversees the French-based jeweler’s North America business, to welcome guests to Milk Studios for a festive evening of music and luxury.
Promoting a theme titled “Golden Hour,” bellhops were dressed in red jackets and caps emblazoned with the Cartier logo, while Marilyn Manson, Lily Collins, and Sienna Miller posed in front of a wall glittering with gold records.
Rodarte designers Kate and Laura Mulleavy, Monique Lhuillier, and other guests enjoyed bites prepared by The French Laundry chef Thomas Keller before Alicia Keys, Lion Babe, and DJ Mark Ronson took to the stage lit in Cartier’s signature colors of red and gold.
