On Wednesday, May 13, the founders of packaging and shipping app Shyp held a Los Angeles launch party at a private Beverly Hills residence. CEO Kevin Gibbon hosted the event, celebrating the Southern California introduction of the company’s mobile app for picking up, packing, and mailing items to destinations around the world. Shyp also partnered with L.A.-based charity Baby2Baby—which provides low-income children with diapers, clothing, and all basic necessities—allowing users during the month of May to ship items free of charge to the nonprofit. Jon Favreau, Dax Shepard, Maggie Grace and Johnny Knoxville were all on hand to celebrate as were Baby2Baby supporters including Kelly Sawyer Patricof.
