Safe Kids Worldwide held its second annual Safe Kids Day at The Lot in West Hollywood on Saturday, April 5. The carnival-themed afternoon included classic games and activities to including a giant ball pit to teach children about being safe in water and an oversized kitchen to simulate the dos and don’ts of safe kitchen practices. Ciara and Drew Barrymore led story time while WNBA player Tina Charles and former Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Matthew Hatchette played basketball with kids nearby. BMX pro Chris Clark performed his signature bike stunt show to teach children about helmet safety. Other guests on hand were Ali Landry, Malin Akerman, and Kate Carr, president and CEO of Safe Kids Worldwide.
